To set up your Pearson MyLab or Mastering course and sync it with your Canvas course, please follow the instructions below.


  1. In your Canvas course, select Access Pearson from the left navigation menu. 
  2. On the Access Pearson page, select Open Pearson. 
  3. On the Choose Your Product page, select MyLab / Mastering.
  4. Click Get Started.
     
  5. Confirm the course content and select Yes, copy this course. 
  6. Wait for the course to be created. This can take up to a few hours. 
  7. After the course is created, remember to:
    • check the course dates, time zone, and assignment dates and update, if needed. If you need help changing any of these settings, consult the Pearson Instructor Help site or contact our Pearson representative Eileen Johnson, eileen.johnson@pearson.com.
    • Turn on grade syncing on the Grade Sync page. 
      1. On the Grade Sync page, click the Grade Sync tab. 
      2. Under Items to Sync, click the checkbox next to All (or click the checkbox for each assignment which you want to auto-sync). Then, turn Automatic Grade Sync On.
