In order for your students to connect you can do this:
- Login to Plesk
- Go to Database
- Click on "User Management" on the far right.
4. Click the "Add Database User" button
5. Select MySql from the Database server drop down (if MySql is the database type).
6. Fill in all required fields making sure to select the correct database from the database drop down.
7. Click "ok"
8. Search for the user in the search box on the right side of plesk:
2. Click on the user name
3. Change the "Role" drop down to "Read Only"
4. Click "Ok"
