The Yellow Ribbon Program allows approved institutions of higher learning and the VA to partially or fully fund tuition and fee expenses that exceed the established thresholds under the Post-9/11 GI Bill.
Yellow Ribbon is used when your actual tuition and fees costs exceed the highest public in-state undergraduate tuition rate. This means that even if the student's Post 9/11 GI Bill is at the 100% eligibility level, the student would still have to pay out of pocket. Yellow Ribbon is a program to assist with these out of pocket costs.
Park University is a participating Yellow Ribbon school, however, because Park's tuition cost is far below the highest public in-state undergraduate tuition rate, students do not need to utilize the program.
Yellow Ribbon does not extend Post 9/11 benefits if they have been exhausted.
