What is it?
Park University harnesses Canvas, a program by Instructure. Canvas is a Learning Management System which contains such items as lectures, quizzes, discussion boards, gradebooks, and even more.
How can I access the resource?
Via MyPark, or direct a browser to: canvas.park.edu
Why would I want to use it?
Instructors use Canvas as a supplement to their Face-To-Face and Blended courses. Online courses are conducted solely in Canvas.
Is there a quick start/basic use guide available?
All students are enrolled in the SOS101 Student Orientation & Services course in Canvas. This course has training on the use of Canvas. Additionally, students can access the Canvas Student Guide.

Not only is Canvas an amazing learning tool, it is also self-supporting. Students do not need to reach out to the Help Desk for assistance with Canvas, rather Canvas has built in support via a “HELP” button icon that appears in every Canvas course site.
