If you are connecting to a non ricoh printer and the test print has failed, try some of these methods.
1: Make sure the correct drivers are installed. You can try the Microsoft Generic Print Drivers to see if this resolves the issue.
2: Changing the port for the printer to something unused like an LP1-3
3: The printer cant test print because TEMP folder does not have the necessary permissions for the user causing nothing to print at all even though you are properly connected to the printer and proper drivers.
Go to Local Disk C: then right click on "temp" folder. Go to properties and then the security tab. Give users full control on temp folder.
