Directory File System Management enables you to see all your shared folders located on different servers, in one handy place.  This is a great feature in addition to mapping your share drives.  (If you are looking how to map a shared drive instead of this article, click here)


Here's how to get to the new Park Shares:


Step 1 On Windows 7, go to Start and click the search bar at the bottom.  On Windows 10, click the magnifying glass button next to Start.  Type in \\park.edu\parkshares and press enter.


Step 2 You should see all your shares you have access to.


Step 3 If you are on Windows 7 you can drag the folder to your Favorites. If you are on Windows 10 you can drag the folder to your Quick Access.


Alternately you can create a single shortcut on your desktop.  Here's how to do that:


Step 1  Right-click an empty space on your desktop.


Step 2  Click New, then Create shortcut on the menu that pops up.


Step 3  In the location field, type \\park.edu\parkshares


Step 4  Give it a name, for example "All My Shares", and click the Finish button.
