ZOOM is very simple and easy to use conference software that is widely used across the globe. Here is how you get started.


Step 1: First step is to navigate to this website; https://zoom.us/download and click download under "Zoom Client for Meetings".




Step 2: Once you click “Download”, your web browser will start downloading ZoomInstaller.exe which is about 7.7 MB in size. Once done, left click on the file or go to your Documents folder --> Downloads folder --> Double click “ZoomInstaller.exe”. This will start the installer.




Step 3: Click Run



Step 4: Once it’s finished installing, it will pull up a window like shown below. If not, look at the bottom of your screen to see if it’s running in the background. You can also check if its installed by clicking Start button in bottom left hand corner, then typing "Start Zoom".







Step 5: Click “Join a Meeting”






Step 6: Enter the Meeting ID or Link name. You can leave the options unchecked under “Screen name”. Screen Name should be your name.
